The membership fee is low and helps fund the website’s platforms, marketing, and joint projects. The business association has no employees; instead, it is run on a volunteer basis by members in their spare time.

Once we have received your membership application, we will create a “profile” for you on the website.

We retrieve images and text excerpts from your own website or, in some cases, Facebook. This means that all members are responsible for their own profiles—we do not write any editorial content.

If your own website does not allow images, logos, etc., to be downloaded, or if you have other images, text, etc., you can send the material to redaktion@visitgamlastan.se. If you have multiple businesses under the same company (business ID), we will ensure that they appear under the relevant headings and categories—up to two per company.

We’ll post your “business card” as soon as possible and update it as needed. We do not publish low-quality images or logos; in such cases, we’ll replace them with a neutral image.

We use smart AI automation to pull events from our members' own websites and add them to the Old Town calendar.

All you need to do is post your events on your own website, including a photo, description, location, time, and a link to any ticketing service. Please note that Facebook and Instagram events are not captured by the AI due to restrictions imposed by META.

Our calendar is updated every morning and includes both new and updated events.

The first time, we set up the organizer and verify that the event is imported correctly.
